Your Barbell Medicine Coach will first discuss your goals, preferences, and resources to develop a personalized nutrition plan that is right for you. Your coach will also provide personalized conditioning plans to complement your diet and nutritional plan. Your progress will be tracked online, and you’ll have weekly check-ins with your coach to discuss your progress and any help that you need. You also have access to your coach with unlimited email support.
We also provide a Barbell Medicine Nutrition eBook with this service to explain what, why, and how of your nutrition plan. Finally, if you are an athlete, your coach will also discuss weight management strategy and plan with you to help meet your goals.

First, it’s useful to note that Barbell Medicine has coaching clients that are being continually coached for many years. So, when and whether coaching ends is a personal choice based on your goals. Many clients choose to continue to be actively coached by us whether they have busy lives and don’t want to be self-coached. They could also be competitive athletes that rely on our experience to keep them developing and performing at their best.
Clients can choose to become self-coached when their goals or life circumstances change. We strive to provide solid educating during the coaching process so that our clients learn and understanding the dynamics involved in meeting their coaching goals. So, it’s pretty common that after coaching ends for a client, they feel they are well suited to manage themselves going forward.
